Accessing Online Credit Courses in RamCT
Are you a College of Business student taking BUS or CIS courses? Visit MBA Support for help accessing RamCT.
All students need an Electronic Identity (eID) to access courses in RamCT or RamCT Blackboard. New students should create their eID as soon as possible after registration to reduce delays in accessing online courses.
Logging in to RamCT
- Have you created your Electronic Identity (eID) yet? If not, visit the eID website.
- Go to RamCT.
- Enter your eID login information (eName and ePassword) and click "OK." (Forget your eID password?)
- A list of the courses you are enrolled in will be displayed. If one of your courses is not listed, and the course has already begun, contact your instructor.
- Enter any course by clicking on its title.

Courses will not be viewable in RamCT or RamCT Blackboard until the Friday before the start of the term. Courses that start later in the term may not be available at the start of the term, but will become available the first day of class.
Forgotten (eID) Passwords
If you've forgotten your ePassword, use the eID forgotten password recovery tool to change your password.
Common Problems
I don't see my course.
Double check whether your course is offered in RamCT or RamCT Blackboard.
- Spring 2012 - Only a select group of courses are offered through RamCT Blackboard as part of the Blackboard pilot.
- Summer 2012 - Is your course an open entry course? Then it is offered through RamCT. All other courses are in RamCT Blackboard.
- Fall 2012 - All courses are offered through RamCT Blackboard.
Your online credit course becomes available in RamCT or RamCT Blackboard the Friday before the start of the term, so you will not see it in your course list until then. All open entry courses are available immediately, however.
I can't log in, why?
First, verify that your eID is working by logging into another CSU service, such as RAMweb.
- If you can't log in to RAMweb, then visit the eID website for support to get your eID working.
- If you can log in to RAMweb, contact the Help Desk to make sure your access to RamCT or RamCT Blackboard is properly enabled.
