RamCT or RamCT Blackboard?

As CSU transitions from RamCT (WebCT) to RamCT Blackboard, here's a quick guide to where to access your course.

  • Spring 2012 – Only a select group of courses are offered through RamCT Blackboard as part of the Blackboard pilot. All other courses are available in RamCT.
  • Summer 2012 – Is your course an open entry course? Then it is offered through RamCT. All other courses are in RamCT Blackboard.
  • Fall 2012 – All courses are offered through RamCT Blackboard.

Minimum Computer Requirements

Access to RamCT/RamCT Blackboard requires a personal computer with the following software/capabilities:

  • Operating system - Windows 7, Vista, or XP; or MacOSX 10.5 or higher (Leopard or Snow Leopard)
  • High-speed internet connection - cable, DSL, or wireless
  • Compatible web browser
    • Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher
    • Firefox 3.6 or higher
    • Safari 3.2 or higher
    • Google Chrome
  • Java 6
