EDOD 765 – Strategic Planning (Scenario) (3 cr.)
Human capital as component of strategic planning of education; training and development at national, regional, and organizational levels.
EDOD 768 – Workforce Development (3 cr.)
Characteristics and elements of workforce development with special attention to the roles and responsibilities of employers and managers.
EDOD 769 – Theory and Practice of Change (3 cr.)
Theory, history, characteristics, nature, levels, and types of change and modern conceptual and integrated models of change.
EDOD 770 – Organizational Culture (3 cr.)
Examine the theories of organizational culture with emphasis on the role of leaders in affecting cultural development and change in organizations and methods and practices for assessing and changing organizational culture.
EDRM 700 – Quantitative Research (3 cr.)
Design, data analysis, interpretation of results, and evaluation of educational research studies.
EDRM 702 – Foundations of Educational Research (3 cr.)
Philosophical, theoretical, and ethical foundations of educational research.
EDRM 704 – Qualitative Research (3 cr.)
Examination of qualitative research theory and methods and applications to education and the social sciences.
EDRM 705 – Qualitative Data Analysis (3 cr.)
Examination of qualitative methods of data analysis, data presentation, and use of computers.
EDRM 707 – Quantitative Research (3 cr.)
Selection or development of questionnaires, tests, structured interviews, and observations. Reliability and validity. Reporting educational studies.
EDUC 675 – Analyzing Education Literature (3 cr.)
Analyze, critique, and interpret scholarly literature in the discipline.
EDUC 709 – Leadership Development (3 cr.)
Principles, theories, attributes, and skills related to individual leadership development.

Time frame
Coursework is completed in eight semesters followed by a dissertation which typically takes six months to one year to complete. Classes meet five Saturdays per semester.

Senior organizational leaders, executives, and leaders with at least 10-15 years of advanced experience within their chosen profession who seek to develop their consulting acumen, improve organizational effectiveness, enhance decision making skills, and improve analysis and research expertise.
What you will earn
You will earn the same regionally-accredited Colorado State University degree that a student on the Fort Collins campus is awarded. Your diploma and transcript are identical to those awarded to on-campus students.
