FIN 300 - Principles of Finance

Overview of financial markets and institutions, analysis of securities and investigation of financial management techniques.

Credit not allowed for both FIN 300 and FIN 305.

Prerequisite

ACT 205 (Fundamentals of Accounting) or ACT 210 (Introduction to Financial Accounting) and AREC 202 (Agricultural and Resource Economics (GT-SS1) S1)) or ECON 202 (Principles of Microeconomics (GT-SS1)) and CIS 200 (Business Information Systems) or ECON 204 (Principles of Microeconomics (GT-SS1)) and MATH 141 ( Calculus in Management Sciences (GT-MA1)) or MATH 155 (Calculus for Biological Scientists I (GT-MA1)) or MATH 160 (Calculus for Physical Scientists I (GT-MA1)). Credit not allowed for both FIN 300 and FIN 300.
