LEAP 640 - Portfolio Creation for Arts Managers

Prerequisite: LEAP 687 or concurrent registration; LEAP 692 or concurrent registration.
Create technologically innovative portfolios central to the artistic process in anticipation of career advancement and development. Receive an individualized approach to portfolio creation to fit career needs which may include digital content creation, digital promotion, design assistance, communication of ideas and additional electronic representation through marketing ideas.

Prerequisite

LEAP 687 (Internship) or LEAP 692 (Internship Seminar); Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate (GR) OR Professional (PR)

Mike Solo graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Master of Science in Design and Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh. Mike currently serves as the Creative Director for the University Center for the Arts at Colorado State University.
As a commercial artist, his mediums and methods cross many platforms and boundaries including actor, musician, painter, and digital designer. His work has been featured in Aperture Magazine, The BBC News, “After Photography” by Fred Ritchin, and “Live Movies: A Field Guide to New Media for the Performing Arts” by Kirby Malone and Gail Scott White.
