As a previous intern at the Central City Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, and Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, Dr. Antonio C. Cuyler understands well the value internships hold for arts management students’ professional development. His passion for students and their internship experiences in arts management inspires his research, published by American Journal of Arts Management and the International Journal of Arts Management. Most recently, Dr. Cuyler contributed to an amicus brief to the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in support of Eric Glatt regarding the infamous Fox Searchlight Pictures case. Previous to joining the LEAP faculty as instructor for Internship and Internship Seminar, Dr. Cuyler held faculty positions at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), American University, and Purchase College, SUNY. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Arts Administration and Coordinator of Internships at Florida State University where he also earned his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Arts Administration.
