Career Opportunities

The field of systems engineering addresses the current trend toward increasingly complex systems that exists across a variety of disciplines, including aerospace, energy, environment, and biosciences. The demand for qualified systems engineers outweighs the current supply of educated and experienced individuals. Learn more about career opportunities

U.S. News and World Report has ranked Colorado State University among the top schools in 2012 for its online graduate degrees. The Engineering programs, including Biomedical, Civil, Mechanical, and Systems earned exceptionally high marks this year.

How to Apply

A B.S. degree from a regionally-accredited institution in any discipline that includes coursework in calculus, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, is required. A course in statistics, or the ability to apply statistical methods, is also required (STAT 501 may be taken to satisfy this requirement). GRE scores are not required. Find out how to apply

The Learning Experience

You learn through online presentations and lectures which are supplemented by assignments, readings, and online interaction and discussion with faculty and fellow students. If you are enrolled in an online course, you are welcome to join that course on campus. Find out more about the learning experience
