HES 300 - Physiology for Clinical Health Professions

Integrative understanding of human physiology with a systems based approach that includes examination of the effect of chronic disease on the physiological function of organ systems. Designed for students interested in pursuing careers working with clinical populations.

Prerequisite

BZ 101 (Humans and Other Animals (GT-SC2)) or BZ 110 (Principles of Animal Biology (GT-SC2)) or LIFE 102 (Attributes of Living Systems (GT-SC1)); CHEM 103 (Chemistry in Context (GT-SC2)) or CHEM 107 (Fundamentals of Chemistry (GT-SC2)) or CHEM 111 (General Chemistry I (GT-SC2)); Sophomore standing.
