GSLL 3007 - Leadership for All Team Members

Leadership is about purpose and not just for Pis. Practice switching between four essential roles on a team, develop a plan for team members to contribute their greatest strengths, discuss the relationship between following and leading and explore the concept of mentorship.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.

Please note that there are no refunds for open entry courses.

Dr. Jennifer E. Cross, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department Sociology, Director of Research at the Institute for the Built Environment, and Co-Director of the Center for Energy and Behavior at Colorado State University. She is a community sociologist, conducting research with and for community partners to solve community problems and improve quality of life. Her current research is funded by the U.S. EPA. That study examines the impact of green schools on student and teacher performance and health. At the university, she has also been involved in studies of high-impact teaching practices and the role of project-based learning on long-term learning outcomes.

Verena Knerich is a PhD student at Colorado State University and Ludwig-Maximillians University of Munich. I am fascinated by understanding how we can overcome differences. What are the processes that facilitate understanding across boundaries? How do teams and individuals work with diversity? What are the processes that drive prosocial behavior change?
