BUS 650 - Supply Chain Management

This course provides an overview of the principles of value-driven supply chain. Also, covers the design and management of supply chains, and supply chain software and applications.

Prerequisite

BUS 500 (Business Systems and Processes) or concurrent registration.; Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Graduate (GR) OR Professional (PR)

Paul Vanderspek earned his M.B.A. in operations, management from Purdue University and is a clinical professor in the management department at Colorado State University. He has worked in materials management professionally for over 10 years with high-tech electronics manufacturers. He has earned two professional certifications in supply chain and operations management. Vanderspek teaches supply chain management courses to both undergraduate and graduate students and focuses his teaching in the upper-level course on supply management. He is active in Northern Colorado APICS (the operations management society) and consults with small businesses on supply chain management and compensation incentives to achieve their supply chain goals.
