Studio work explores contemporary adaptation of source material from Italian Renaissance art, architecture, textiles, and decoration. Sketchbook and short research assignments lead to the development of a personal project proposal. In the manner of artist-commission proposals, students leave Italy with a completed project proposal that visually details in-depth plans for specific future work in any medium.
