Postsecondary Teaching Certificate
Certificate Overview
Advance your career in higher education with this three-course certificate program. Through this program, new postsecondary instructors acquire practical overviews of effective teaching models, ideas for engaging students while meeting learning objectives, and approaches to promote critical and creative thinking. The curriculum gives experienced instructors the opportunity to update and energize their teaching repertoires and connect personal knowledge with established research on effective classroom practices.
The Postsecondary Teaching Certificate prepares you to seek more advanced administrative leadership roles in higher education. You will be able to lead with a commitment to access, learning, institutional mission, quality, and educational outcomes.
Build your educational background by earning graduate credit for advanced coursework in postsecondary instructional innovation and effectiveness, which may apply to a master's degree or Ph.D.

Admission to the University is not required to earn the Certificate of Completion in Postsecondary Teaching. Prior CSU coursework can be applied toward this certificate, though transfer courses are not accepted.
CSU has created a winning combination with cutting-edge technology for online delivery, strong curriculum, reasonable pricing, and a supportive and friendly faculty and staff. My philosophy to "Keep Learning" was easily achieved through this program. Thank you, Colorado State!
