This course can be applied toward:
STAT 340 (Multiple Regression Analysis); STAT 350 (Design of Experiments). Admission to the Master of Applied Statistics program can substitute for these courses.
Textbooks and Materials
No textbook required. Computer software: R (available as free download) and SAS (available by purchasing a discounted SAS license through CSU or as a free online tool using SAS OnDemand). Students will be given instructions on obtaining computer software when the course begins and are encouraged to wait for those instructions before trying to obtain the software.
Jana Anderson is an associate professor and the director of the Online Learning and Master of Applied Statistics programs in the Department of Statistics at Colorado State University. Prof. Anderson joined the Department of Statistics in 1994. She is a member of the American Statistical Association and is active in the Statistical Education Section. She received her Ph.D. in Statistics from Colorado State University.
