PHIL 201 - Ethical Computing Systems (GT-AH3)

Survey of contemporary ethical issues in information technology and software development. Explore moral, social, and legal issues with information technology in the modern world. Construct arguments based on modern ethical issues, and issues explored through science fiction.

This course meets the All-University Core Curriculum (AUCC) requirements for Arts/Humanities (Category 3B) and is approved under gtPathways in the content area of Ways of Thinking (GT-AH3).

Prerequisite

None. Credit not allowed for both PHIL 201 and CS 201.
