Technology review and application of engineering sciences and economics to the analysis and design of large industrial gas and dual-fuel engines. Combustion cycles, fuels, emissions control, auxiliary systems associated with industrial engines, and overall systems design of engines as well as application requirements and design limitations.
This course can be applied toward:
MECH 237 (Introduction to Thermal Sciences) or MECH 337 (Thermodynamics).
