HORT 454 - Horticulture Crop Production and Management

Production and management of horticulture crops.

Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Facilitate the integration of academic courses in both the major and related courses through the development of a horticultural business plan and budget.
  • Encourage the student to look at opportunities that exist once they graduate and move into the working world of horticulture.

Prerequisite

HORT 310 (Greenhouse Management) or HORT 450A (Horticulture Food Crops: Cool Season Vegetable Production) or HORT 450B (Horticulture Food Crops: Warm Season Vegetable Production).
