Production and management of horticulture crops.

Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Facilitate the integration of academic courses in both the major and related courses through the development of a horticultural business plan and budget.
  • Encourage the student to look at opportunities that exist once they graduate and move into the working world of horticulture.

Prerequisite

HORT 310 (Greenhouse Management) or HORT 451 (Vegetable Crop Management) or HORT 453 (Principles of Fruit Crop Management).
