Karen Koehn has been an educator in Poudre School District for 28 years. She holds a BA from Alma College in Michigan, a MA from CSU, and received her PhD from Colorado State University in 2014. Ms. Koehn served as the principal of Putnam Elementary for 7.5 years. She is currently the principal of Rice Elementary. Ms. Koehn teaches the Supervision and Evaluation class for the principal licensure program. Ms. Koehn has three grown children, all graduates of CSU. She enjoys family time and working in the garden with her husband on their acreage north of Ft. Collins.
