Data management and spreadsheet skills; what data is and how it is used (and misused) in social and economic research; applied questions such as how data is collected, types of data, where to find data, how to summarize and tabulate data, and data visualization and presentation.

This course can be applied toward:

Prerequisite

Credit allowed for only one of the following ECON 235, ECON 280A1 (Economic Data Analytics), or LB 235 (Working With Data). Credit not allowed for both ECON 235 and LB 235.
