CS 535 - Big Data

Topics in scalable computing models, optimization algorithms, large-scale nontradiational data storage frameworks including graph, key-value, and column-family storage systems; data stream analysis; scalable prediction models and in-memory storage systems.

This course can be applied toward:


CS 435 (Introduction to Big Data) with a grade of B or better. Graduate students are not subject to this prerequisite. Undergraduates seeking to register for the course should have taken CS 435 (Introduction to Big Data) and received a grade of B or higher.
