CIVE 438 - Fundamentals of Environmental Engineering

Core topics of environmental engineering including water quality and chemistry, wastewater removal and treatment, air pollution, noise pollution, and sanitary landfill design. Sustainability, green engineering and ethics are also discussed.

Prerequisite

CBE 331 (Momentum Transfer and Mechanical Separations) or CIVE 300 (Fluid Mechanics) or MECH 342 (Mechanics and Thermodynamics of Flow Processes); CHEM 113 (General Chemistry II); Walter Scott Jr. College of Engineering majors only.
