BZ 435B - Study Abroad--Baja California Sur: Practices in Marine Ecology

  • 3 credits

Exposure to two of the most productive and biologically diverse marine areas in North America. Living in a landlocked state makes it hard to bring marine biology to life. However, studying the organisms/ecosystems in Baja California Sur is an opportunity to experience first-hand the subject matter that is normally only read about in textbooks. Venture into the field and gain practical knowledge from fieldwork that strengthens research skills.
Sophomore Standing. Written consent of instructor. This is a partial semester course. Students apply through Office of International Programs.
