Students will design and fabricate prosthetics for under-served populations in Educador. Course experience will occur in Quito, Ecuador in partnership with Range of Motion Project (ROMP), a non-profit, for impact healthcare organization.
The course includes four meetings at CSU prior to the experience, the in-country experience in Ecuador, and students will be required to submit daily journal entries that reflect observations and insights on the culture of innovation in Ecuador. Students registered for 2 credits will also be required to complete reading assignments prior to the experience, and submit a post-experience video reflection presentation and a post-experience project proposal report.
