My partner (Nicole), daughter (Selah, CSU class of 2033), and I like to do anything that involves being outside and active. I also love playing games, reading, and over-sampling at local frozen yogurt shops.

I did my undergraduate work at Azusa Pacific University and graduate work at Bowling Green State University. This year I am beginning coursework at University of Northern Colorado in their Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership program.

We live on campus, and I am the Residence Director of the Academic Village. I co-teach the Student Development Theory course and have also taught a workshop on the spiritual dimensions of college student development. Some of my other research interests include experiential learning, foster care students on campus, and spirituality.
