After graduating from Colorado State University, I traveled throughout the United States before coming back to CSU to pursue a master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. I completed my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Innovation from the University of Colorado at Denver. My dissertation related to community college leadership and succession planning. I am currently the Dean of Student Services at Front Range Community College, Larimer Campus, and I co-teach the College Student Personnel Administration course. Fall 2011 will be my twelfth year teaching this course, and I have enjoyed every semester!

I live in Longmont in a 100-year-old house with my partner, Ron, and our two children, Cameron and Connor. We all love to hike, camp, and travel. My research interests include leadership and professional development, succession planning, and student affairs within community colleges.
