This unit consists of 15 hours of lecture on medical and surgical oncology topics, presented by specialists in the field. Topics range from radiation therapy to chemotherapy, biopsy principles and cancer cytology. Instructors: Drs. Susan LaRue, Nicole Ehrhart, EJ Ehrhart, Barb Biller, Paul Avery, Susan Lana, Deanna Worley and Doug Thamm. Students registering for an individual unit will have access to the materials for one month, and will be able to interact with the instructors via online postings during that time.

Dr. Kogan, a licensed psychologist is an assistant professor of Clinical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the College Outcomes Assessment Coordinator. She is also an affiliate staff member of the University Counseling Center and the Psychological Counselor for veterinary students. She holds an M.S. degree in Experimental Psychology and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Her areas of research include outcomes assessment and the human-animal bond.
