Every day brings scarier news about cyber security breaches. Probability of a material data breach involving more than 10,000 records was 26% in 2016. A major cyber-attack on a large organization could cost upward of $400 million for clean-up. It is no longer a matter of if, but when, ones private information will get compromised. In this talk, we will go over some of the more common threats to personal information on the Internet and what we can do to safeguard it.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
