Professor Toni Schindler Zimmerman previously sailed as an instructor with Semester at Sea (SAS) in Spring 2017, Summer 2013 (as mental health advisor), and as Academic Dean for Fall 2016. She began association with SAS in 2016 when the program was located at University of Virginia and moved association to CSU when SAS was relocated to Fort Collins. She is looking forward to sharing how academics are realized on ship learning in the unique environment of SAS.

Toni Schindler Zimmerman, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. She has been at CSU since 1991 as the Program Director for the Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program.
