Everybody wants to be happy, and now a growing body of research is providing guidance on how to increase the potential for happiness in our lives. We will discuss how science answers questions like, "Does money make you happy?" and "Are some people just naturally happier than others?" You will learn surprising facts about what does and doesn’t make us happier; where the U.S. ranks in happiness compared to other countries; and how age, marital status, gratitude and pleasure relate to happiness.
You will be able to assess your current "happiness practices" and take home information on easy actions you can use to bolster your happiness, life satisfaction, and quality of life.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
