What happens behind the scenes at an art museum? Join the Director and Chief Curator, Linny Frickman, for a tour of the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art, including areas utilized for the storage and preparation of art exhibitions. How does an art exhibition come together? How are works of art stored when not exhibited? When a work of art is identified for use in an exhibition, what preparations must be made? What is art conservation and how does it play into exhibition preparations? This tour will cover these and other issues associated with curating and organizing art exhibitions.
