No one really retires anymore. You may be out of the workforce but you still have motivation, drive, and ambition to continue with the next chapter of your life. Volunteering is to the Boomer Generation what sacrifice was to the Silent Generation. This interactive lecture explores what volunteering is in today’s terms: the changing paradigm of older motivations to new volunteer expectations. We will explore where the community’s greatest volunteering needs are and what your impact means to the community you live in and how you can get the most out of your volunteer experience.
