Global population and consumption of natural resources are growing rapidly and contributing to a large set of challenging environmental issues, such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, and diminished air quality. At the same time, new knowledge and technologies can enable better understanding of problems and development of effective solutions. Leaders of the CSU School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SoGES) will describe environmental sustainability, review key problems and how they might be addressed, and describe how the school’s research and education efforts are preparing students to make informed judgments about environmental issues and contribute to creation of a more sustainable world.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
