  • Noncredit
  • Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

In conjunction with the Norman Rockwell exhibition at the Fort Collins Museum of Art from September 4 to November 1, 2015, this lecture will look at Norman Rockwell, one of America’s most beloved artists, through his decades of illustrated covers for The Saturday Evening Post. No other artist managed to better distill both the essence of America in the 20th century and a sense of the values at the core of who we are as a country.

This lecture will look at the artist, his history, and his enduring influence on the public and artists who came after him.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
