  • Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

We’ll discuss CSU’s program that over the past 7 years has sent 33 professors to teach 69 course sections at the Foreign Trade University (FTU) in Hanoi, and has brought more than 180 Vietnamese students to CSU. We’ll explore how a western economics and business curriculum is presented to a new generation of leaders in one of the last remaining Communist totalitarian states.

Bob Kling will discuss the challenges and success factors involved in this international, intercultural enterprise. This session will finish with photographic impressions from around Vietnam and Southeast Asia, accompanied by casual observations about economic and cultural development.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
