This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Colorado has the lowest childhood immunization rates in the United States. This puts us all at greater risk for vaccine preventable diseases and increased preventable health care costs. This presentation will also include a history of immunizations, vaccine preventable diseases, vaccine effectiveness and its safety, herd immunity, and the immunizations available in 2015 for children and seniors. We will explore the reasons behind immunization hesitancy and encourage you to become ambassadors for informed immunization-related decisions for yourselves and within your families.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
