This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.
This presentation will describe events in St. Augustine, Florida and at Boggs Academy in Georgia between June, 1964 and June, 1965. From an arrest with Dr. King to the total destruction of a school, the unique events of one person’s civil rights era experiences will be remembered. The events of 50 years ago, also will provide reference points for reflections on where we are today. This presentation with questions and discussions will be the program format.
