Certain places croon to you over time and distance, beckoning you to come back as if they enjoy having you as much as you enjoy being there. Something about the blend of plant life and animal life - about their diversity from the tiny to the big, about their connectedness in pursuit of their daily lives - creates a mood that can excite one visit and soothe the next. Describing such places transcends a narrative description, and explaining how such a place enriches your own life can be nearly impossible unless the person listening has such a place of his or her own.
"Afield in Special Places" will encourage you to rediscover your special places by connecting with two nature lovers as they interactively explain, discuss, and explore their own.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
