You've seen a red fox but have you seen a gray fox? You've seen a striped skunk, but have you seen a spotted skunk? You’ve seen raccoon, but have you seen a ringtail?

Within any given wildlife group, some species are more frequently encountered than others. Some wildlife species are so secretive that they almost seem to be invisible, yet in the right place at the right time there they are.

The first trick is to know what's out there. The second trick is to know where to look for it. The third trick is to make the time to go looking.

"Seldom-Seen Wildlife" will highlight the lives of wildlife species that are common enough to look for but secretive enough to be challenging to find.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
