  • Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Journey with us through the life and art of Andy Warhol. Along the way we will make some stops at his studio (the Factory) and spend some time reliving an evening at Max’s Kansas City and Studio 54.

We might even hang out with some of his Pop Art buddies, Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Rauschenberg. Because we will get to know Andy very well, we are going to read his diaries and learn what motivated him as a person and an artist. It is very possible that we will find out that he was a much more complex person than he ever let on!

This course is being offered in conjunction with the Fort Collins Museum of Art’s Warhol exhibition (mid-December
2013 to mid-March 2014).
