OSHR 1426 - Improv: Acting Through Games and Brain-Teasers

  • Noncredit
  • Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Have you ever seen the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway? and wished you could do that? Here's your chance! Through games, role-playing, and improvisation; this acting class will not only make you a better performer, but it will also test your quick-thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.

Theatre games keep the mind alert and active as they demand creativity and the ability to embrace whatever is thrown at you. With the class, you will also attend an improv show performance put on by the Comedy Brewers at Bas Bleu Theatre. Afterwards, we will try to replicate the same games (plus some of our own) and learn what skills a successful improv performer needs.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
