As you travel, do you enjoy going to art museums? If so, this course will help you derive even more pleasure by enhancing your knowledge base regarding major periods of Western art.

This course provides a quick overview of the major periods of Western art, focusing on what was new and unique about each time period. We will also explore how and why art changed over time.

Readings: Strickland, Carol. The Annotated Mona Lisa: A Crash Course in Art History from Prehistoric to Post-Modern, 2nd edition if possible, 1st edition will still work.
