This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Come enjoy film and post-film discussions in the comfortable ambiance of the new Lyric Cinema Café. We will watch movies with unique story lines and observe filmmaking techniques that often vary from the standard studio fare. After each cinematic adventure, we’ll gather together with fellow Osher participants for discussions of these thought-provoking films

Please Note: Movies may be subtitled and carry various ratings. This is not a history of film course.

Joannah L. Merriman, M.A., is a community educator, writer, and psychotherapist. A life-time enthusiast, she enjoys lively discussions with like- minded movie-goers and always makes sure she has the most recent edition of Video Hound’s Golden Movie Retriever, her favorite film reference book, in her own home theater.
