OSHR 1356 - The Roles of Ethics and Justice in Composing a Purposeful Life

  • Noncredit
  • Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Ethics, Morality, Fairness, and Justice are commonly used terms in daily living. We have all developed a personal sense of doing the right thing and understanding consequences of doing the wrong thing. These terms, related yet distinct, have grounding in metaphysics, history, nature and personal values.

This course is an open forum discussion of our understanding of these terms, how they inform each other, and how we believe they should apply to our shared lives in human community. The goal is a non-judgmental, non-dogmatic time of exploration and sharing.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
