Who among us has not struggled to find a good solution to a seemingly impossible personal or professional problem? We strain, become anxious, and grow frustrated because we pour over the same inadequate options and can't come up with a solution that really works. After a few of these unsuccessful efforts we convince ourselves that we are simply not very creative.

The truth is we all possess various "tools" in our brain that enable us to generate creative solutions. The key is learning how to access them. Recent brain imaging research is helping us understand the physiology and chemistry involved when our mind works on these problems.

In this practical class you will learn how these physiological processes work and how you can readily utilize them. We will examine real-life examples where exciting creative or heuristic solutions have dramatically benefited those employing them.
