The "Arab Spring" began in Tunisia in early 2011. Subsequently, drastic changes were seen not only in Tunisia, but in Egypt, Libya, Yemen, and Syria, while increasing concern towards Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, and the Gulf States. All events and ensuing repercussions are exceedingly fluid and, at times, volatile, but continue to evolve almost daily.
This course will briefly examine the history, politics, economics, and societal changes of all parties.
Discussion will focus on what has transpired, what continues to transpire, and where it might all be leading.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
