Whether you are a "townie" an old-timer, or a newcomer, join us to learn more about our history
- from Camp Collins to College Town to Entrepreneurial Mecca
- from Old Town to the Harmony Corridor
You will have an opportunity to interact with local historians and community members who have helped our city grow. Learn about changes over time to the businesses, agricultural enterprises, educational resources, and neighborhoods that have helped shape Fort Collins. What/who are just a few of the people, ideas, opportunities, and resources that have allowed us to become what we are now and continue to look to our future? You can add your own story to all of the others that make the biography of this choice city in the west.
Reading: Swanson, Evadene; Fort Collins Yesterdays (1975). The Global Village Museum will have copies of this book. An expanded list of recommended readings will be distributed during the initial session.
Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
