World War II was the largest single event in world history. Its impact has been felt for generations. Since it has been featured in countless books, films, and documentaries - and touched our individual lives - most students come into this class with some prior knowledge of the subject. The war’s origins and all of its major events and campaigns will be covered, and the controversies over some of them will be featured.
