OSHR 1178 - The U.S. Constitution and Individual Rights and Liberties

  • Noncredit

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Most U.S. citizens cherish their claims to individual freedom - sometimes even when there is no Constitutional basis for those claims. This course will consider not only the textual basis for individual rights and liberties that are in the Constitution, but the nearly 225 years of interpretation and application that have seen those rights and liberties contract and expand.

(No class Apr. 12 and 19)

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
