OSHR 1162 - Britain in the 20th Century and Beyond

Within little more than a century Britain experienced dramatic changes and challenges. This course will examine British history from the time of its great empire, through two world wars, a major depression, the creation of a welfare state, and beyond to Brexit.

Henry Weisser

Henry Weisser was a professor of history at Colorado State University for 39 years. He earned a Ph.D. from Columbia University. He has made many trips to Britain and lived there for a time.
