OSHR 1129 - English History

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

The most significant events in English history will be discussed, ranging from the Anglo-Saxon invasion to the creation of the welfare state. So many laws and institutions that prevail in the United States today were hammered out in the forge of English history. The story is replete with colorful characters and dramatic events.

Henry Weisser

Henry Weisser was a professor of history at Colorado State University for 39 years and is now a professor emeritus. He earned a Ph.D. from Columbia University. He has visited many World War II sites over the years and previously taught World War II history at CSU
