This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Last year President Obama announced a "Pivot toward Asia" which is starting to involve the shifting of U.S. military forces to the western Pacific, accompanied by new, or renewed, interactions with a number of nations that could be in the path of potential Chinese expansion.

Osher participants will examine the complexities associated with America’s new policy. We will analyze how it is being viewed in Beijing, and examine the rationale for the policy in Washington.
